Sushi 101 in Charlotte

I go here because the location is convenient for me. If not I wouldn't. Nothing great or bad to report, just decent quality sushi and ok prices.

Good place, good food , good attention and best of all good wine.

The only bad thing i have about this place is that they need another server for lunch. I feel bad everytime i go in and its always the one server running around. She does a good job but it seems sometimes our food takes a lot longer than it should becuase she doesnt have anyone helping her. But the foods good

Service is subpar but sushi is delicious and not too expensive

I love this place!!! Great sushi, great portions, great service, and great atmosphere. One of my favorite spots in Charlotte. Even with the take out options during COVID-19... the service and food has stayed excellent.

Very friendly place with great people. Our server was very tentative and polite to our needs. The food was outstanding.

Been eating at this place since 2003, and still love it. My waiter was knowledgable, and just attentive enough. The sushi is a great value, and I've never gotten anything I didn't like. You cant go wrong here!

Great Crunch rolls

Hubby and I decided to try out a new sushi place tonight and MAN it was worth it. Our waitress, Andrea and helped my very picky appetite find something yummy. We got the Panther roll, The surf and turf (Fave) and the rainbow roll. Delicious! Their house made ginger sauce was great as well! This hidden gem is definitely one of our favorite spots now.

It's LITERALLY the best sushi restaurant in the South Park area and that's NO JOKE!

We always enjoy eating here. Love the Katsu vegetables.

Honestly, a great chicken fried rice. Can’t speak to anything else on their menu but that particular item is really good. The yum yum sauce... amazing combo. Five stars just for those two. A bit dark inside but whatever, we have flashlights in our cellphones now.

Great Sushi... They have the best Spicy Tuna Roll in Charlotte

Had an absolutely lovely time here. The sushi was phenomenal and our waitress, Billierose, was cute as a button and an absolute delight. She gave us multiple recommendations that were all delicious including a roll that wasn’t even on the menu! She called it a super chappy maki and it was good it would be a crime if I didn't tell y'all about it. The dish had 2 different kinds of roe, tuna and fried crab on top, so much tuna in the filling it was literally pouring out of the sides, and shrimp tempura dead center. If it was actually put on the menu people would get it all of the time. It was amazing! Thank you Bilierose for hooking us up and thank you for such a wonderful time. We look forward to eating there again!

This is my family's favorite sushi place. They have great lunch specials. Consistently delicious, fresh and well made sushi. Kind of a small dining room, but you can also order to go.

Calimari was great. Miso soup was hot and fresh. Sushi was pretty good too. Didn't care for the cooked sushi offerings but the other specialty rolls were good. Main course was a little slow coming out. Service was prompt.

My wife and I have come here for lunch pretty regularly for many years, as it’s very close to our office. Service is always prompt & friendly, the sushi is always very good, it’s never too loud (even when crowded), good lunch specials. Definitely recommended!

Subdued atmosphere, chill employees, and consistent food presentation. The lettuce wraps flavor was a little strong for my taste. Tempura sushi options can be either grilled or steamed which was nice.

Good fresh sushi at reasonable prices. I can here for lunch and there were not many people eating although it was not empty either. About half of the tables were marked and intentionally left empty to allow for social distancing due to Covid 19. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The food came quickly and was very good. Overall I would recommend!

Really liked this place. I don't really like sushi so I got the fried rice which was fresh and excellent!

Quick service, good sushi and easy parking

My friend and I sat at the bar and had a great time. Cindy was great. Everyone was so friendly. We shared a few sushi rolls and loved every bite. The prices are reasonable. Would recommend them highly to everyone I know!

Food was okay at best. Pretty bland. Took 40 minutes for us to get our food when the restaurant was almost completely empty (there were maybe 6 guests).

Service & food were Amazing! A+++
